This Privacy Policy explains how Liraa collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our website, web application, Chrome browser extension, and mobile applications (together, the “Service”). Liraa is a product of PowerBrix, operated by Mentor AI LLC, based in Washington State, United States (“Liraa,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account & authentication information

• Your name and email address.
• Authentication data — login credentials, session tokens, and (if you sign in with Google) the basic profile Google shares with us.
• Workspace and team details you create or are invited to.

Recordings and content you create

• Video, audio, screen captures, and camera footage you record using Liraa, including the recordings made through our browser extension.
• Titles, summaries, transcripts, comments, reactions, call-to-action buttons, and other content you add to your videos.
• Uploaded images or files (for example, custom camera backgrounds).

Your recordings are stored in your Liraa account so you can share, edit, and measure them. You control who can access each recording through your sharing settings.

Usage & analytics

• Viewer engagement on the videos you share — views, plays, watch time, completion, playback speed, and button clicks.
• Device and connection details such as browser type, operating system, and IP address.
• Product usage and diagnostic information that helps us keep the Service reliable.

Payment information

Paid plans and free trials are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles your payment details under its own privacy and security standards. We retain limited records such as your plan, subscription status, and billing identifiers.

2. The Liraa Browser Extension

Our Chrome extension lets you record your screen and camera directly on the page you're viewing, and only acts when you click its toolbar icon. Specifically:

• It records your screen, camera, and microphone only when you start a recording, and uploads the resulting video to your own Liraa account.
• The camera background-blur and custom-background effects run entirely on your device using a segmentation model bundled inside the extension. No video frames are sent anywhere for these effects.
• It uses your Liraa session token to upload recordings on your behalf. The extension does not read your browsing history, monitor your activity, or collect data from pages you visit.
• Our use of information received from Google APIs (including the Chrome Web Store user data) adheres to the Chrome Web Store Limited Use requirements, including the prohibition on selling that data or using it for unrelated purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service and its features.
• To store, host, transcribe, edit, and share the recordings you create.
• To show you analytics about your own videos.
• To process subscriptions, trials, and billing.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To respond to support requests and communicate important updates.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your recordings to train AI models for unrelated purposes.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• Service providers — including Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), our hosting provider, and Stripe (payments). They process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
• People you choose — anyone you share a video link or embed with, or teammates you invite to your workspace.
• Legal & safety — when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Liraa, our users, or others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required.

5. Permissions We Request

Depending on the platform, we ask for access to your camera, microphone, and screen so you can record. These are only used while you are actively recording. On mobile we request permissions in line with platform requirements, and you can revoke them at any time in your device or browser settings.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account information and recordings for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your videos at any time, and you can request deletion of your account by contacting us. We may retain limited records where required for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and trusted infrastructure providers — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and promptly address issues we discover.

8. Your Rights & Choices

• Access, update, or delete your account information and recordings.
• Control sharing and visibility of each video.
• Revoke camera, microphone, or screen permissions in your device settings.
• Request a copy or deletion of your personal data, subject to applicable law, by contacting us.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights over your personal data. We honor these rights as required by applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

Liraa is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Users

Liraa is operated from the United States, and your information may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
